"Lets VDIfy Our Systems!" is a highly informed book that guides you through everything to do with desktop virtualization, from how the technology was created and evolved to the ways in which is can save, time, money and hassle for businesses like mine. The well-written book is down-to-earth, practical, easy to understand and has a great deal of information that makes understanding this technology so much easier. Mr. Alshafee skillfully addressed each area of the book with experience, knowledge, a passion for the technology and a clear aim to allow the reader to fully understand VDI in its entirety. Overall, this was a wonderful in depth guide tot he technology that helped me make up my mind about incorporating it into my business' systems.

It gives clear instructions and tips on how to implement the system, in order to keep a companies computers secure. What you get with this book, however, is something you don't get in books like this very often: honesty. It doesn't shy away or completely ignore the risks and downsides of implementing a VDI system, but it does prove it's case, and I think it shows that the many positives outweigh the negatives.This was a very easy read, as well. Everything was broken down simply, and it flowed from one topic to the next very smoothly. I highly recommend it for anyone working in IT, that wants a clearer understanding of desktop virtualization.
